The Smart Brothers Road Safety Show

The Smart Brothers Road Safety Show is a theatre in education presentation aimed at keystage 1 & 2 pupils. Stuart Clark and Jason Perry play Freddie and Eddie Smart, two brothers who are 'smart' when it comes to crossing the road. Or are they…

Show Photo - Stop!Stuart & Jason combine over thirty years of performance knowledge to produce an unforgettable educational experience. Utilising their background in street performance, corporate entertainment and cabaret, the show is by turns, funny, skillful and entertaining, whilst never losing sight of it's main aim; to educate the audience and make them safer on the road.

The overriding message, which is reaffirmed throughout the show, is to stop, look, and listen, when crossing the road. Ancillary messages that are also dealt with include:

  • cycling safety
  • safer places to cross the road
  • the dangers of playing, using mobile phones and listening to headphones near the road
  • safety when traveling in a vehicle

Using a mixture of juggling, unicycling, circus skills and song, along with plenty of audience participation, The Smart Brothers Road Safety Show will stay with the children long after Freddie & Eddie have left the school.
